Children & Families
My movement classes for children and families are built around imaginative storytelling, joy and play. I invite children to use their bodies as creative tools, exploring rhythm, spatial awareness and expressions through guided explorations.
These sessions support children's development, wellbeing, communication and social skills. Children build confidence, learn to listen and respond to one another and discover the world through moving their bodies.
Dancing Together
I am part of the Dancing Together team with Groundswell Arts, an organisation that brings arts to families. Dancing Together focuses on the physical and mental wellbeing of babies and toddlers and their carers supporting their emotional needs and strengthening attachment relationships between. It also supports community building amongst groups of parents and children, reducing social isolation and loneliness.
I’m certificated Babywearing Peer Supporter with Carrying Matters, for providing families help with sling/carrier wearing, support and safety.
I’m also a Community Champion for Violence Against Women and Girls.
I have Paediatric First Aid Training and Mental Health First Aid Training.

Mafê & Miia’s Baby Dance Classes were truly invigorating. Not only did they help me reconnect with my body through a series of gentle, intentional movements, but they also introduced exercises that supported relaxation, breathing, and overall wellbeing.

These classes offer so much more than movement — they are a space to connect, learn, grow, and feel supported.
